Most developers fix what they think is broken. I fix what the data says is broken.

Before I touch any code, I open React DevTools, read the flamegraph, check the Sentry logs. I build a picture of what’s actually happening, not what the ticket says is happening.

And I write it so the next engineer doesn’t have to ask me what it does.

FoodChéri

E-commerce at Scale

Set the standards for a team of ~8 across three products: the consumer app for ordering and delivery, the POS used in FoodChéri’s in-company stores, and the self-service kiosk where employees badge in, order, pay, and collect from a fridge on site. Reduced load time 40% across both brands, cut crash rate 80%, and unified 5 payment processors into one checkout. Automated regression testing replaced manual QA before every release.

Seazon

From MVP to Production

One of two engineers who built the original MVP, and still on it today, running it at scale for hundreds of daily users. Built the component library and shared front-end foundations used by both brands, so the performance and testing work benefits Seazon and FoodChéri alike. CMS-driven updates went from a full day to under a minute: the marketing team shipped on its own.

Cat Printer Web

No App, Any Browser

Built solo, from a real, unmet need: print to a Bluetooth thermal printer from any computer, with no companion app and no backend. The printer's own documentation turned out wrong on four separate protocol values, found only by reading the printer's real Bluetooth traffic. Tested two ways to pace data to the printer and kept the one that measured 58x faster, not the one that looked smarter on paper.
